Buzz, also called Buzz The Vampire, is a recently-turned, heavily muscled vampire who has been undead less than twenty years. He works as a bouncer and bodyguard at Jean-Claude's strip club, Guilty Pleasures.
Appearance[]
Tall, muscular man with huge arms and black crew cut. Hasn't been a vampire long enough to lose his human expressions, to gain the statue-like stillness that older vampires can do at will, or to tire of the novelty of flashing his fangs for shock effect.
When he's working, Buzz wears a black T-shirt whether it's a hot summer night or chilly winter night.

Guilty Pleasures[]
We meet Buzz for the first time when Anita goes to Catherine's bachelorette party. He's standing outside beside the door, and grins with a flash of fangs when Monica squeezes his arm and compliments his muscles. He tells Monica to go inside and that her table is waiting.
When Anita returns to the party from the crime scene, Buzz is not at his post, and Jean-Claude is guarding the stairs instead. It's not specified whether this is a special arrangement because he's waiting for Anita, or if it's customary for the manager of the club to cover breaks for the bouncers, although former sounds more likely.
When Buzz returns from his break and assumes his position beside the door again he gets reminded to not call Jean-Claude "master", presumably at least in front of humans. It's unclear if the title signifies that Jean-Claude was the one who turned Buzz, that someone from Jean-Claude's bloodline turned Buzz, or simply that Jean-Claude is the master vampire in charge of the club.
When Anita hesitates following Jean-Claude back inside, and asks if Buzz would fetch Monica and Catherine for her, he just grins and says he can't leave his post and already had his break.
The Lunatic Cafe[]
Buzz is again guarding the door at Guilty Pleasures, wearing only a T-shirt even if it's December. He seems disappointed when Anita doesn't react to his fang-flashing, but cheers up when Stephen shrinks at the news that that Jean-Claude is pissed off because Stephen missed a set.

Powers & Abilities[]
- Immortality - Buzz is roughly around fifty or seventy years old and possess the appearance of a handsome young man.
- Superhuman Strength - Buzz practices bodybuilding to help with developing his vampiric strength.
- Superhuman Speed - He can move faster than the eye can follow.
- Heightened Senses - His senses are heightened to the point where he can hear whispered comments from some distance away, see in the dark, and tell a human's emotional state by their scent.
- Accelerated Healing - Wounds from most objects, even bullets, heal in seconds without causing him any seeming discomfort.
